Terms of service and sale

1. Who we are

Manai Ger is a platform that connects local producers (herders, growers and makers) with members who order food online and collect it at a ger-relay. We provide the service that makes this exchange possible. We are not the seller of the food itself, which is sold by the producers.

2. Your account

To order, you create an account with accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to enter a contract. You can close your account at any time.

3. How ordering works

Each ger runs time-limited sales. You place an order during the open window. You are not charged until the sale closes. An order is confirmed only when the relevant producer's minimum is reached; otherwise it is cancelled at no cost to you. Confirmation forms the contract of sale between you and the producer, with Manai Ger handling the platform and logistics.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are set by producers and shown before you order. The price you pay includes the producer's price and the Manai Ger service margin described on our transparency page. Payment is processed through QPay. During the preview, some payment steps may run in demo mode.

5. Pickup

Manai Ger operates on pickup only, with no home delivery. You collect your order at the ger-relay, on its distribution day and time, shown on your order. Please collect on time, fresh food is prepared specifically for your order.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund rules are set out in full in our cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: no charge before a sale closes, automatic cancellation if a minimum is not reached, and fair handling of quality issues.

7. Producers and hosts

Producers set their own prices, minimums and offers, and are responsible for the quality and compliance of their products. Hosts organise pickups and the community around a ger. Specific terms apply to producer and host accounts and are provided when you register in those roles.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or harm other members, producers or hosts.

9. Liability

We work to keep the service reliable and accurate, but we provide it as is during this preview. We are not liable for the acts of producers beyond our role as a platform, nor for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms as the service evolves, and we will make material changes clear before they apply. The governing law and competent courts will be those of the operating entity's jurisdiction, stated in the legal notice before launch.
